Memorial Day (our trip to DC to see the monuments a couple weeks ago)

Thank you all who serve. Both the service members and the families. To the woman who stepped up when they aren't allowed to serve and now serve because we can!Thank you all for serving. Both today and past. Thank beyond words that I can muster here... thank you for my freedom.
Thank you to my grandfathers who have served, to my uncles who have served, to my dad and (step)dad who have both served 30 years in the Air Force, to my brother-in-law, to my husband who has 12 years on active duty. And to their wives, mothers and sisters who prayed for them along the way. To their children who patiently waited at home as they protected our freedom today. To my husband who I know it is hard to leave, to be shot at, to see and hear the things that no man or woman should, who brings the fallen home on the C-5, and brings the items needed so they can fight the fight who has also flown the KC 135 (that big gas station in the sky!). I love you. I love who you are and what you do. I stand beside you and I will be here every time you come through that front door. I respect you for the Godly man you are and continue to be. I thank you for the father you are to our children. Thank you for serving our country.

Earthquake Relief in China

To see what is being done for relief you can go to many many many sites; including many adoption agency's. Please consider donating to help the people of China.
I know that this organization is especially helping the orphans and displaced children. You can read updates at their site. It is a wonderful organization. www.halfthesky.org

Can't keep a good boy down.. heheheh

I just HAD to take these photos.. my sweet little boy wears his emotions on his face. I can tell every mood he has by just looking at him.. this particular time, he was upset with me b/c i said no to candy :O) and I grabbed the camera so he could see what he looked like. We are trying to "match his feelings on the in side with what is on the outside". This is b/c if I ask, are you mad or sad at mommy - daniel will say no.. I did get block with all these different emotions on it. He has done FABULOUS showing me how he feels. So anyways, Daniel was MAD at me and stood in kitchen pouting (it was rather cute) and once i started snapping photos.. his mood changed and he started laughing :O)
my sweet little guy.. you just can't keep a good man... umm boy down!
