OHMY

I have two friends in China RIGHT now and on MONDAY they meet their daughters for the first time.
Please pray for Steve and Beth G. as they adopt their sweet Jillian [coolest name ever :O) and Steve and Laura W as they adopt sweet Lily.
YEA YEA YEA!!

Both their sites are passworded.. sorry..

We traveled with Beth and Steve to adopt our daughters in Nov 04~
We met Laura and Steve here just a few short weeks ago!

Thank you God for bringing families together. Thank you for keeping your orphans, your children, safe until you graciously allow us to parent them. Thank you God!

Our Timeline to Drew

everyday, PRAISING GOD
Dec 19 2008, drove home from STL with ALL SIX OF US
Dec 18th flew home to US
Dec 8th, offical adoption day
Dec 4th, met drew ... again
GWCA is an amazing agency with the most amazing staff
Fall 2006 - Thoughts/dreams of a son
Leave on the 3rd Dec! Home on 18th
Spring 2007- captivated by him
August 2007 - God touched my heart and open my eyes
October 2007 - God placed in Bob heart to adopt a son from China
sign with 1st agency(they [CHI] are fabulous but not where God wanted us).. later find out from God we jumped the gun and He wanted us with a different agency
October 07- start paperchasing(the day after Bob gives go-ahead)
December 07 - fingerprints done, homestudy done (by Adoption House in DE - they are fantastic!), apply to USCIS
Jan 08- USCIS approval comes! Only took a couple weeks!
Jan 8, 08- homestudy signed and finalized
May 08- signed with Great Wall China Agency (GWCA), against what everyone was telling us to do and our heads and hearts (losing 1000 with first agency).. God firmly pressed 'be the salt, go with Great Wall"
June 08- have to update HS b/c 6 month time lapse
Waiting for God to reveal our son on a list
Less than 2 weeks updating our HS with GWCA, Drew was a part of our home
June 18th - matched with Drew
June 19th - LOI to China
June 27th (Friday)- DTC , Handwalked into CCAA on Monday June 30th
June 27th - 1st question on my medical (why the hysterectomy)- had to have a doctors letter. Our doc O'connor had it done, notarized and faxed to agency within 2hours! (thanks to him and our dear friends Wade & AL for helping speed things along! Praise God!!
July 1st- more questions from CCAA on my hysterc.) This time I had to write a letter from my perspective
July 3rd - LID (logged in Dossier!!)
July 10th - PA BABY! 3 weeks from LOI to the day!
September 2008- Update on Home Study finished; along with completed and approved fingerprints for KS. we are so ready to gooooo!
October 22 - CCAA signs and releases our LOA
Oct 24th received at GW and sent to us
Oct 27 LOA received by us !! and signed and mailed same day
Oct 31 LOA mailed from TX (GWCA) to China. The wait begins again...
Nov 20, TA !!!!
Nov 21 CA! confirmed for Dec 16th and tickets booked
